flat bowl
i noticed in the recent rei catalog that they now offer fold flat dishes from orikaso. i particularly noticed the bowl and the cup. i remember the crummy acordian style cups from 5th grade-ish that leaked, but were novel. the bowl looks like it might actually be a reasonable bowl. i am tempted to try it (rei sells it for $3), but i still have memories of the leaking plastic cup. what do you think?

rei claims a generous 18 oz for the bowl. and why is it cheaper than the CUP? I think the bowl should be required on a canoe for backup bailing.
the more I look at the other choice I think the design for the bowl is the best. there are no snaps to fail, and the seams seem well thought out. i'll have to have a look at this, it may replace my ice-cream bowl

i ate cereal out of it this morning and was very impressed. i love it. the folding is pretty easy and looks like it will be fairly durable so it is definately going hiking, camping, and backpacking.
