Lame Immigration Agents
immigration agents posed as OSHA training agents and arrested illegal immigrants. we shouldn't do that. read the article from occupationalhazards.com here. as it points out, the immigrants bear the brunt of work place accidents and if we make them afraid to show up for safety training, then we are just hurting them more. unethical in my book.

OSHA is only marginally better than ISO9000.
while working a can line (at 7-up dr. pepper) a guy put a sound meter next to my head and determined there were too many decibels. the next day earplugs became mandatory. I guess osha isn't all that bad, as I do still have my hearing.
this reminds me of a nother story. one where someone that worked at 'the bird' had to reuse disposable earplugs for a week at a time. or was it a month?
