A Glass of Iced Tea
yesterday i made some iced tea from celestial seasonings bengal spice tea (adding some sugar while brewing the hot tea). the curious thing is that i drink it from a glass glass. i prefer to drink most of the time at home from a plastic cup. water, pop, juice. but iced tea i have some great need to drink from a glass made from glass.

thats strange, I too found that need. I wonder if its so you can see through the glass and appreciate the color?
truly everything tastes better in glass. and it does look prettier in glass. maybe the tea reacts tastewise with plastic or metal? how about that chemist?
ironic. i am just now half finished with my tall glass of iced tea (wall-mart great value - orange peakoe).
when i stop to think about iced tea, the only thing that comes to mind is lots of sugar in it - yet i have none in it. i have half a glass to fix.
Maybe it is just a tradition that we follow. Or maybe in the back of our minds we think of gracious southern lady drinking ice tea on her verandah... using of course a glass glass.
